Miner Acquires Dock And Door Systems Of Florida

San Antonio, Texas – February 6, 2007 - The Miner Corporation, a material handling industry leader based in New Braunfels, Texas, has expanded its presence in Florida through the acquisition of Dock and Door Systems, an affiliate of Florida Lift Systems. According to Jeff Fischer, CEO of Florida Lift Systems, “This divestiture will allow us to focus all of our assets and energy on Florida Lift Systems, our core lift truck business. At the same time Miner Florida will provide a broader range of dock and door products and services that will provide a comprehensive solution to our clients warehousing needs.”

The purchase advances Miner’s commitment to the Florida market. In November 2006, Mike McAuliffe joined Miner as the Southeast Regional Manager based in Orlando. Since then, Miner Florida has implemented an aggressive talent search program. Miner Florida will provide new equipment and service to retailers, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities throughout the State. Primary product lines will include loading dock equipment, dock seals and shelters, trailer restraints, sectional, rolling and high speed doors, and waste handling equipment.
