July Class Of Miner U Graduates
Return
The week long training session was led by Cory Weber and Robert Villegas. President, Jeff Schmeck, joined the training to discuss the company’s Core Values. CEO, Phil Miner, also spent time with the group to share the company’s vision for the future.
The Basic Training section of Miner U is designed to give new employees an understanding of the company’s history, purpose, brand promise, policies and procedures, as well as hands-on experience to help ensure quick success in their new career. “We developed Miner University to fulfill our commitment to deliver worry free service. Basic Training is the foundation of our ongoing training program. At the center, is it’s focus on our Core Values and Beliefs: Practice the Golden Rule, Live by the Code of Honor, Always do what’s in our customer’s best interest, and Build trust through open dialog and candor,” commented Jeff Schmeck.
The program teaches new team members about the vast array of products and services Miner offers. The ability to “triage” a customer’s problem and dispatch the right technician is a critical part of providing the expertise Miner’s clients have come to expect.
The hands-on technology training was set up in a test environment. Participants reviewed actual service calls and focused on the importance of great communication with our customers. By working in a test environment, the participants gained experience and confidence in using Miner’s systems and processes.
Miner has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing nation-wide companies for the past three years. The Miner University program has been instrumental in facilitating this growth. The program is constantly being enhanced to ensure employees have the tools needed to grow with the company and better serve it's customers. As with all graduates of Miner U, there will ongoing products, services, and technology training as they join their teams and gain experience.
