Miner Holding Company Businesses Named To Aggie 100 List 4 Years Running
Miner Fleet Management Group, Miner Holding Company’s international service center, and Miner Houston, the division of The Miner Corporation serving the Texas Gulf Coast, were named to the 2008 Aggie 100 list of the world’s fastest-growing businesses owned or led by Texas A&M alumni.
Miner Fleet, based in San Antonio, ranked 42nd while Miner Houston ranked 65th on the Aggie 100. Both companies are affiliated with Miner Holding Company, a fast-growing, internationally recognized diversified materials handling company led by Chairman and Founder Phil Miner, a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station.
Phil Miner has been honored on the Aggie 100 every year since the list’s inception four years ago. This is the third year Miner Fleet has been named to the Aggie 100 list, while it marks Miner Houston’s second appearance on the list. Miner North Texas (based in Dallas) and Miner Southwest (based in Phoenix, AZ) also have previously appeared on the Aggie 100.
The Aggie 100 list is created and maintained by the Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M.
It’s the latest recognition for Miner Holding Company and its family of companies, five of which made the 2008 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in the United States for the second consecutive year. The combined Miner companies topped sales of $50 million in 2007.
