Early on Thursday the 14th of April, Miner welcomed Jeff Ross and the ESS Group of Brenham, Texas to the Miner team. The acquisition of ESS Group provides Miner with Overhead Door distributorships in multiple South-Central Texas markets including Brenham, College Station and Corpus Christi. In addition, Jeff and the team at ESS Group have years of experience in warehouse equipment including automated storage and retrieval systems, racking systems, mezzanine structures, modular building systems, conveyors, crane systems, hoists and stretch wrappers. With the capability to serve major Texas markets such as the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, this acquisition continues Miner’s growth in Texas and presents the opportunity to expand available services in material handling and industrial storage solutions.
Jeff Ross will remain a critical part of the team, serving as Miner’s Vice President of Operations and Sales, Warehouse Products, South Region. In that role, he will be tasked with expanding sales and service of warehouse products, initially in Texas and eventually across Miner’s national footprint. The dock and door operation will be overseen by Miner South-Central Region Vice President John Cadena with the assistance of South Central Texas Territory Vice President Chris Galvan in San Antonio and Houston Territory Vice President Eric Summers in Houston.
